Description

Compass is about providing guidance, direction and support to navigate the various career pathways and development opportunities at UWS, to plan your work aligned to the UWS and School, Centre or Unit goals, and to evaluate performance.

The review phase of Compass will be to complete performance reviews for 2012 and to meet with your supervisor. All staff are required to complete a self-review of performance, whether or not they have entered work and development objectives in MyCareer Online. Staff currently on probation or contracts of less than 12 months are not required to complete the review and have not been assigned the task.

This hands on workshop will help you navigate the review phase of the Compass program.

• Navigate the performance review in MyCareer Online
• Monitor and update work objectives
• Complete the academic/professional portfolio
• Complete the academic/professional staff review
• Complete the career development component
