Pre-requisite Staff must have completed Basic TRIM training.

Description

TRIM is a records and document management tool that allows you to capture and manage records in a way that is consistent, compliant with statutory requirements, centralised and secure. You will learn why records are important, how to create files and maintain records in TRIM and what to do with records no longer needed in the office.

This one and a half day course covers the importance of records, how to use a records information form (RIF) to create files, how to maintain records in TRIM and how to prepare records for storage and/or destruction.

  • perform basic record maintenance
  • change record information
  • prepare records for storage
  • prepare records for destruction.
