Description
The Ally Network is a university endorsed initiative aimed at forging positive cultural change for UWS staff and students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Intersex or Queer (LGBTIQ). The role of UWS Allies includes the promotion of UWS' commitment to a respectful and inclusive work and study environment regardless of sexual and gender expression.
The Ally Network meetings provide an opportunity to discuss, network and share information relevant to the role of a UWS Ally. These meetings also provide an opportunity for professional development specifically aimed at UWS Allies and the planning of Ally initiatives.
