Description
This interactive session covers the responsibilities of all UWS staff, including a discussion of the relevant policy and legislation framework. The session will highlight that it is everyone’s responsibility to work towards an inclusive workplace culture and will distinguish between discrimination, harassment, bullying and other disrespectful anti-social and negative workplace behaviours. It will also offer strategies for dealing with these anti-social and negative workplace situations.
Learning Objectives
This workshop will enable participants to:
- Explore the UWS policy and legislative framework
- Identify and distinguish various negative and anti-social workplace behaviours such as incivility, discrimination, harassment and bullying
- Discuss expectations of what is acceptable work place behaviour
- Explore strategies to respond to negative and anti-social workplace behaviour
This course is part of the Diversity and Wellbeing program.
