Description

This module provides an overview of UWS history, structure, policies and procedures together with information about working at UWS. The module is particularly useful for new staff in their early weeks but also as an ongoing reference tool. Upon completion of the online course you can re-launch as often as required.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course you will have greater understanding of:

  • the history of UWS; its past, present and future
  • UWS structure and campuses
  • teaching and working at UWS
  • staff support services and facilities
  • career planning and professional development and
  • policies and procedures to be followed.

You will also gain an understanding of our commitment and your responsibility, to providing a work and study environment for staff and students which is:
