Hazardous Materials
Provider UWS
Intended as a core module for all staff working at UWS with responsibilities relating to project management, contractor management and security. Contractors, contract workers, staff, students and visitors are also required to complete this training before applying for approval to enter an area where hazardous materials are present.
Description
The course focuses on how Capital Works and Facilities at UWS deals with hazardous materials on site. Once you successfully complete the course a certificate will be made available which you can print and keep with your personal records.
Learning Objectives
In this module you will learn about:
- CW&F staff and contractor responsibilities
- the Hazardous Materials Register
- the types of hazardous materials at UWS and the correct ways to deal with them
- incident management.
