Description

The Certificate IV in Frontline Management is a nationally recognised qualification. The program introduces managers, supervisors and team leaders to the principles, values, models and skills of supervising and managing others. Two courses are offered, one for non supervisors and one for supervisors.

There are 10 Units of Competency (PDF, 147Kb) in the Certificate IV program involving workplace-based activities and assessment to be completed over 12 months:

  • show leadership in the workplace
  • implement operational plan
  • implement continuous improvement
  • develop teams and individuals
  • promote team effectiveness
  • establish networks
  • make a presentation
  • establish effective workplace relationships
  • monitor a safe workplace
  • develop work priorities.  

There is a cost of $2000 to attend this course which is charged to your School or Unit. This cost may be reimbursed to the work unit if the applicant qualifies under the Government Incentive Scheme.
