Description

HyperText Markup Language or HTML is the underlying code for web pages. This one day course is designed for people who want to know the basics of how a web page is created.

The first two lessons introduce the basics of HTML code and show the user how and when to use the code tags to build a simple web page. The third lesson is a basic introduction to using a web authoring program.

Learning Objectives

This course will enable participants to:

  • identify and use basic HTML codes
  • create a simple web page using HTML codes
  • modify web pages by changing the HTML codes
  • identify and use the basic functions of web authoring tools
  • create a simple web page using web authoring tools
  • modify web pages and change the HTML codes in web authoring tools.
