Managers Guide to UWS
Whether you are new to UWS or are an existing manager, the information on this page is designed to help you navigate your way around UWS. Your role as a Manager at UWS is vitally important in helping to take your School or Unit, students and staff forward in achieving the UWS vision, mission and values.

For new managers, the UWS Induction Plan and Checklist lists suggested schedule of activities during your first weeks to help you settle into your role. Many of the actions listed will have been completed prior to your commencing at UWS. The checklist outlines the facilities and resources you may require, staff you will need to contact in your first weeks, and the areas and services that will support you in your role. There is also a list of actions to ensure you are aware of the policies, delegations and statutory obligations relevant to your role.
