Description
This module provides an understanding of what climate change is and how its effects can be mitigated. The human activities that create greenhouse gas emissions are described, as well as the workplace activities that contribute to this situation. Most importantly, the module shows you how you can change the way you do things at work to reduce your carbon footprint and reduce greenhouse emissions.
Learning Objectives
After completing this module you should be able to:
- explain how changes in greenhouse gas volumes contribute to climate change
- describe the human activities that create greenhouse emissions
- explain why organisations are taking action on climate change
- identify activities in your working life that contribute to your carbon footprint
- change how you do things in order to reduce your carbon emissions at work.
