Intended for staff wishing to build skills and confidence in presenting to groups and/or wanting to refresh their presentation skills

Description

Being able to present with effectiveness is a key skill applicable to a range of situations including meetings, seminars, formal presentations, and job interviews. This practical workshop will provide participants with techniques, tools and tips for making effective presentations.

Optional Follow-Up Day

An optional follow-up day is available to provide further coaching on making presentations and the opportunity to reinforce and practise skills learned in Day One. Participants will deliver a longer  presentation using

any visual aids.

Learning Objectives

This workshop will enable participants to:

• Understand what makes a good presentation
• Sequence and deliver information to ensure a manageable and logical flow for the audience
• Identify key elements necessary to engage and hold audience interest
• Create and use visual aids effectively
