To provide University officers and staff with information about
contracts and their development and management.

At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  • State the difference between a contract and a Memorandum
    of Understanding (MoU) and why they are used for different
    purposes
  • Identify what basic due diligence needs to be performed
    before a contract is signed
  • List the basic different contract terms and state why they are
    there
  • Outline the process for signing the contract and what happens
    after
