Learning and Teaching Flexibility: Beyond the Classroom

This stream focuses on positioning UWS as a provider of flexible, inclusive and authentic learning experiences for students. The Blended Learning Project will ensure a strategic and systematic approach to combining times and modes of learning, integrating the best aspects of face-to-face and online interactions. Strategies will vary according to the discipline, the year level, student characteristics and learning outcomes, and have a student-centred approach to the learning design; where opportune some units may be delivered wholly on line. The Staffing Project will ensure the University’s academic staff profile explicitly provides for expertise, commitment and workload to support blended learning.
