Cars parked in blue parking baysCasual UWS staff and frequent visitors (e.g. tenants, maintenance contractors) are entitled to purchase Pay and Display one day parking permits, annual and half year parking permits - General Yellow, Communal Blue, Dedicated Red and Dedicated Red with Bollard parking permits.

Note: only the purchase of a Dedicated Red or Dedicated Red with Bollard parking permit guarantees a parking space will be available.

Pay and Display One Day Parking Permits

Pay and Display one day parking permits can be purchased from the permit machines located in the parking areas of each UWS campus (refer to the campus maps for the exact location of the permit machines). Permit machines accept cash and credit cards. Pay and Display one day parking permits are only valid for the day of purchase. They entitle you to park in a yellow car park bay only on any UWS campus. At Parramatta south, Pay and Display one day parking permits are available for $8 and allow the holder to park in blue car park bays.

Annual/Half Year General Yellow Parking Permits

A General Yellow parking permit will entitle you to park in a yellow car park bay on any UWS campus.

Casual employees who purchase 30 Pay and Display one day parking permits in any calendar year are able to swap these permits for an annual General Yellow parking permit for the same calendar year. All 30 Pay and Display one day parking permits must be in their original format and produced for a swap to occur.

Annual/Half Year Communal Blue Parking Permits

A Communal Blue parking permit will entitle you to park in a blue or yellow car park bay on any UWS campus. Blue car park bays are generally located closer to buildings than yellow bays.

Communal Blue parking permits are provided subject to availability. If you apply for an 'approval code' for a Communal Blue parking permit and a permit is not available, you will receive an email containing details of when additional permits/spaces will become available for you to reapply.

Annual Dedicated Red Parking Permits

A Dedicated Red parking permit will entitle you to park in the red car park bay that has been assigned to you or any blue or yellow car park bay on any UWS campus. Some Dedicated Red parking permits have bollards so the permit holder can protect their car park bay.

Dedicated Red and Dedicated Red with Bollard parking bays are provided subject to availability. If you apply for an 'approval code' for a Dedicated Red or Dedicated Red with Bollard parking permit and an appropriate dedicated reserved parking bay is not available, your application will be placed on a waitlist.
