Recruitment
From 17 August 2009, paper based requisitions will no longer be in use and all requisitions will be submitted online as part of the next phase of the eRecruit rollout.
Please contact your Recruiter before proceeding with any recruitment and selection or appointment processes, including advertising a position, or nominating a fixed term/visiting/adjunct/conjoint appointment (except engagement of casual staff which is unchanged at present).
Implementation of Recruit Online, the UWS web-based recruitment management system, commenced 1st October 2008.
Please contact your Recruiter before proceeding with any recruitment and selection or appointment processes (except engagement of casual staff which is unchanged at present).
Recruit Online and the new Jobs@UWS website were developed using DEST Workplace Productivity Program funding. The WPP grant was won in 2007 to fund initiatives of the UWS Our People 2015 Strategy.
All users of Recruit Online - Panel Convenors, Hiring Managers and their nominated staff - will be supported by the Recruitment Team and extensive online reference materials including a new UWS Recruitment Toolkit and online learning modules.
Jobs@UWS replaces the existing UWS Positions Vacant page and features the UWS web look and feel. The most significant difference is that applicants can apply for positions on line and/or register to receive 'job alerts' for positions of interest to them. They can also choose to email a job to a friend or colleague.
