Thesis Presentation
Congratulations! You have arrived at one of the most critical steps of your studies - the presentation of your thesis.
We expect that you have already prepared your work following guidelines outlined in the UWS Research, Higher Degree Examination booklet (PDF, 613Kb). If not, we recommend you do immediately.
We appreciate that you have devoted considerable time and effort into researching and writing your thesis. Please read the information below so as to avoid any unexpected printing and binding issues.
You can complete this phase of your thesis by either using our online ordering system or visiting us in Building F, Penrith Campus, Kingswood.
Number of Exam Copies
PhD, Professional Doctorate and Masters (Hons) candidates are all required to submit a total of three copies of their thesis for examination. One copy remains in the safekeeping of the Office of the Academic Registrar while others are being examined.
We strongly recommend you confirm the above quantities are correct with the Office of Research Services or your direct supervisor before submitting your print order with us.
Remember to order additional copies for yourself and friends or relatives, especially with respect to your final case bound thesis.
Service Times
Allow five working days for us to print and bind your exam copies and ten days for hard case bound copies.
If urgent turnarounds are required we will do our best, however, such requests are likely to incur a $100 surcharge.
Printing Costs
Printing costs depend on your specific requirements. The number of pages (sides) printed simplex or duplex, type of paper, number of monochrome versus colour pages and of course the total number of finished copies you require. The following prices should be used as guide for estimating purposes only.

Binding Costs
We offer two choices for binding your thesis. Exam copies can be tape or thermal bound and include a clear front plastic cover and card back cover. Your final thesis must be hard case bound. Prices include GST.
