Psychological Test and Assessment Workshop

This four day workshop provides training in standard techniques of assessment, including the theoretical basis for the techniques used, observation of an experienced practitioner and observed practice in an assessment situation. Emphasis is on the trainee achieving competence in:

  • Administration, scoring, interpretation of one adult and one child individually administered test of intelligence (WAIS-III, WISC-IV)
  • Administration, scoring and interpretation of one standardised group test of intelligence (Ravens Standard Progressive Matrices)
  • Administration, scoring and interpretation of one standardised non-projective test of personality (16PF5)
  • Administration, scoring and interpretation of two tests of specific functioning (Brown ADD Scales, WRAT-3).
