Teaching Resources
UWS is committed to improving the quality of teaching and assessment. A growing range of teaching resources are being developed to help staff in their teaching and assessment activities.
In this section you will find resources relating to:
- Induction to Learning and Teaching program, available each semester for all new sessional teaching staff.
- Assessment of student learning, the criteria and standards-based assessment policy, related unit outlines and learning guides policy useful in providing the framework for clarifying assessment expectations.
Other resources being developed include:
- Strategies for Engagement, including resources on the flipped classroom
- Blended Learning Resources, the fundamentals, best practices and designing for learning resources
- Technology Resources, including using the iPad in Teaching
Additionally your School-based blended learning advisors and designers, along with the central Blended Learning Team can assist in your teaching and assessment plans.
