UWS Lectures Online
Lectures Online
Lectures Online is one of the technologies available through the University of Western Sydney’s online learning system ‘vUWS’ to support students in their learning. This automated recording system digitally captures face-to-face lectures for web delivery.
Lectures Online is available:
- to provide an additional learning resource for all students so that they can revisit recorded lectures whenever and wherever they like;
- to support students who may have missed a class because of illness or other unexpected difficulties;
- to provide additional support for those students with disabilities, learning difficulties and language differences.
Students can access these recordings on campus via the UWS computer labs or from suitably equipped home computers. Flexible access and use of these resources can be obtained by downloading the files to mobile devices such as mp3 players (e.g. iPods) or flash drives.
Support for staff and students is available through the e-learning support system, vuws@uws.edu.au (opens in a new window)
