The official launch of the Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development in Greater Western Sydney, by the Hon Greg Combet AM MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, and Minister for Industry and Innovation will be held on Thursday 27 September 2012, 10.30am – 11.30am on UWS Hawkesbury Campus.

The newly-established Regional Centre for Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development in Greater Western Sydney (RCE-GWS) will be led by the University of Western Sydney. The Centre draws together the key educational, state, local government, NGO and community groups in the region to work collaboratively to address the important social, economic and environmental sustainability challenges facing Greater Western Sydney today and into the future.

The launch will be streamed live above on Thursday 27 September 2012 from 10.30am.
