UWS Tree of Life

The artwork used in the banner was painted by Mrs Janice Bruny for the University of Western Sydney. It provides an Aboriginal perspective of education at UWS and it is about the university, what it does and where it is situated. Mrs Bruny notes:“These large ancient trees were highly regarded and met many needs of our people. Beneath the large branches was the traditional place for learning and knowledge sharing."
