Biodiversity and River Health 

The Biodiversity and River Health working group aims to engage and educate the local community and schools of the importance of our natural environment.

These projects include links between higher education, VET, environmental educators, educating the community and schools.

Food Security and Agriculture

The Food Security and Sustainable Agricultre working group aims to engage and educate the local community and schools on the importance of agriculture in Greater Western Sydney for securing food for our growing population as well as the impacts of wasting food.

These projects include links between schools and higher education, local goverment and community groups and organisations.

Teacher Education for Sustainability 

The Teacher Education for Sustainability working group aims to engage and educate schools, both primary and secondary, and their teachers on what sustainability is and how they can get involved.

These projects include fostering links between schools, VET & higher education, community education, curriculum resources and living laboratory projects.

Business and Sustainability

The Business and Sustainability working group aims to engage and educate businesses and small to medium enterprises about workplace sustainability.

These projects including links between business, VET and local government, greening business operations, educating staff and creating jobs in our local region.
