Research Interests
Terri's current research interests include: the history of post-independence Pakistan; identity politics; religion and politics in Pakistan; and the role of Sufism in the creation of a national ideology.
Whilst at The School of Oriental and African Studies, Terri studied Ancient and Medieval India, Islam in South Asia, State and Politics in Colonial India, Nehru and India's Modernity, Gandhi and Gandhism, and Cinema and Society in India.
Terri has basic written and spoken Urdu and Hindi.
