Welcome and Introduction to Your Research Candidature

All new research higher degree candidates are warmly invited to attend the 2013 Orientation program.

Your Higher Degree Research handbook will be distributed to you at the first day of Orientation.  The handbook has important information about the conditions of your enrolment and resources and includes advice about how to set up your new candidature and the first year reporting milestones.

Until then, there is helpful information in our starter kit: Postgraduate Essentials: Strategies for a successful start to your research degree FAQ & Starter Kit (PDF, 73Kb).

A series of workshops have been developed and will be running during the week. These workshops have been developed to provide you with essential tools to assist you during your candidature.

Registration will be open shortly.

All workshops will be held on Parramatta campus.

Preparing for Confirmation of Candidature
Date: 14 March, Time: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm

Confirmation of your registration for Orientation and Workshops will be emailed to your student email account.
