Charity and Social Events

UWS staff are encouraged and supported to participate in community events and charity functions.

• UWS Social Club (staff login required)
  The aim of the club is to provide social, sporting and recreational activities to staff so that they can enjoy a socially rewarding and happy time whilst at UWS.
  
  Membership of the UWS Staff Social Club is open to:
  
  • staff and former staff of the University of Western Sydney and related entities
  • staff and former staff off UWS student associations, unions and sporting associations
  • staff and former staff of the Co-op bookshop who have worked at UWS campuses
  
  In addition, associate membership is open to staff and former staff of organisations that have worked with or provided services to UWS provided that they were based on a UWS campus. 
   
• UWS Staff Giving
  UWS Staff Giving provides you with the opportunity to make regular donations to charitable and community organisations through your pay each fortnight. Because the donation comes from pre-tax salary, you will receive an immediate tax deduction for your gift, but most importantly, 100% of your donation will directly support your chosen beneficiary.
