Dr Guirong (Grace) Yan

Biography

Guirong (Grace) Yan obtained her PhD from the School of Civil Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology (China) in 2006 and served as a post-doctoral research associate at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy), Washington University in St. Louis and Purdue University, sequentially. She has published 36 refereed journal and conference proceeding articles and is an ASCE-Dynamics Committee Member in Engineering Mechanics Institute.

Dr Yan has research interests primarily in the areas of structural health monitoring and damage detection, sensor technologies and intelligent infrastructures.
