Biography

Dr Quang Vinh Nguyen is an early career researcher whose research interests are in the areas of Visual Analytics, Information Visualization, Visual Collaborative Systems and Human Computer Interaction. Dr Nguyen has a long research history on visualisation and analysis of hierarchical structures, graphs and networks since his PhD study, past research at the University of Texas at Dallas and at the University of Technology, Sydney. He is now a main researcher at the Visualisation and Virtual Reality Lab at the School of Computing and Mathematics, University of Western Sydney. The Visualisation & Virtual Reality Lab has state-of-the-art visualisation laboratory that supports research of academic staff, research students in Large Scale Visualisation and Visual Analytics. In the past six years, he has published 30 refereed book chapters, journals and conference papers in related to this research field.
