Mrs Mary Hardie

Biography

 

Mary Hardie has been a registered architect for more than 25 years and has worked in architectural design as well as in Design and Construct companies. She has a particular interest in sustainable residential construction and in construction innovation.

Since 2004, Mary has been involved with several research projects with the Cooperative Research Centre for Construction Innovation. The projects involved various aspects of the diffusion of construction innovations as well as waste minimisation in construction. Currently she is working on a PhD thesis which looks into “Enabling factors for technical innovation in small and medium construction enterprises”.
