Applicants need a minimum UAI score of 85 and the HSC must have been completed in the year immediately preceding the commencement of university study. Applicants must be applying for full-time study through one of the eligible courses shown in the accompanying table. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate some leadership and teamwork skills through extra-curricular activities undertaken in the past, have good written and oral communication skills, demonstrate a range of interests through participation in various activities, demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate an interest in computing, information technology, computer networking or industrial design.
The successful applicant will be determined by a selection committee using the above criteria, and an interview where candidates will be required to demonstrate some of the skills required.
Recipients must maintain a credit average to remain in receipt of the scholarship.
