Cospak Group Scholarship for single parents

Cospak is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of rigid and flexible packaging products. Cospak's core business involves the supply of these products to the wine, food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy. Cospak has identified an area of need within the local community and has committed, in partnership with UWS, to supporting the ongoing education and development of a single parent wishing to undertake a tertiary studies for the first time.

Scholarship Benefits: $5 000 per year

Duration: Up to four years

Course(s): Any full-time UWS undergraduate degree

Eligibility to apply

Applicants must:

• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
• Be a commencing student starting at UWS for the first time, or currently enrolled in any full-time undergraduate degree;
• Be a single parent in receipt of a Parenting Allowance from Centrelink

Application Process and Selection:
Applicants should apply using the Group B – Donor Funded Scholarships Application Form available on the How to Apply webpages.

Selection of this scholarship will be determined by an interview panel, so applicants must ensure their availability to attend.

Conditions of the Scholarship:
Recipients must remain in full-time study (40 credit points of study per semester) and maintain a minimum GPA of five (credit average).
