Ervin Graf Stockland Scholarship for Third Year Students


The Ervin Graf Scholarship was created in 2003 in honour of the late Ervin Graf, founder of Stockland, one of Australia’s largest and most significant property companies, in 1952. The scholarship is offered to a high performing second year student in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Property) program, who potentially will take on a future leading role in the property industry.
 

Available: There is one scholarship in 2009

Scholarship Benefits: $5 000 initial one-off payment, plus $5 000 one-off payment towards HECS or tuition fees, plus paid work experience placement.

Duration:  For one year 

Course(s): Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Property)

Eligibility to apply

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen; and
  • Be currently enrolled in second year of a full-time in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Property) course; and
  • Maintained a GPA of four (pass average) in the previous year.

Applicants must also submit a current curriculum vitae. 

Applicants must ensure that they complete the personal statement section of the application which requires you to discuss your interests, achievements, personal aspirations and property career ambitions.

Selection of this scholarship will be determined on the basis of your personal statement and performance in an interview. Applicants must ensure their availability to attend an interview.

Conditions of the Scholarship: Recipients must remain in full-time study (40 credit points of study per semester) and maintain a minimum GPA of four (pass average).

Recipients will be invited to participate in a period of work experience during their vacations and one-day per week during Semester. There will be a level of payment whilst undertaking work experience, which would be negotiated.

Note – it is a condition of the Scholarship that the recipient undertakes work experience.
