Macarthur Public Accountants Discussion Group Scholarship

The Macarthur Public Accountants' Discussion Group has had a longstanding affiliation with UWS Campbelltown Campus since 1987. The group meet monthly in order to discuss ideas and current practices in accounting. They are offering this scholarship to assist students financially who are studying on the Campbelltown campus.

Available: There is one scholarship in 2009

Scholarship Benefits: $5 000 for one year

Duration:  Paid for one year only

Course(s): A full-time Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at the Campbelltown Campus

Eligibility to apply

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
  • Be a commencing student starting at UWS for the first time;
  • Have completed their HSC the year prior to commencement; and
  • Reside within the Macarthur Region* for the past 12 months.

Application Process and Selection: Applicants should apply using the Group B – Donor Funded Scholarships Application Form available on the How to Apply webpages.

Selection of the successful applicant will be determined on the basis of the highest UAI.

Conditions of the Scholarship: Recipients must remain in full-time study (40 credit points of study per semester) and maintain a minimum GPA of four (pass average).
