UWS International Exchange Scholarship for continuing students

The University of Western Sydney has a range of exchange opportunities with partner institutions in the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Scandinavia.

As a full-time student, you can complete a semester or a year of your course overseas and have the results credited towards your UWS degree. At various times, UWS will offer different forms of financial support. This support may be offered by the International Office or by UWS Colleges.

Scholarship Benefits: $2 500 for one year

Duration: One-Off Payment

Course(s): Any full-time undergraduate degree program.

Eligibility to apply:

Applicants must:

• Be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa;
• Be in their second or subsequent year of undergraduate study at UWS;
• Have achieved satisfactory progress in their course at a minimum of GPA of 5 (credit average)
• Be officially nominated as an endorsed exchange candidate by the International Office; and

Application Process and Selection: There is no formal application process for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered for a UWS International Exchange Scholarship when you apply to go on an exchange program.

Selection will be made on the basis of meeting the minimum GPA of five (credit average) and scholarships will be awarded to the top ranking students each semester. The scholarship office will notify you in writing if you have been successful.

Conditions of the Scholarship: This scholarship may only be granted once to any student and may not be held with the Vice-Chancellor’s Leadership, Academic Excellence or any of the College of Business Scholarships.
