Biography

Thilla Rajaretnam is an Associate Lecturer with the School of Law. She coordinates and teaches Commercial Law (PG) and teaches Introduction to Business Law.

Thilla is a researcher in information privacy and data security issues and regulation. She has submitted her PhD thesis entitled, ‘The Regulation of Information Privacy Protection in Electronic Commerce (E-commerce) in Australia’.

Prior to commencing her academic career, she was a Legal Practitioner in Malaysia. Thilla was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in the High Court of Malaya, Malaysia in 2000 and in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia in 2004.
