
With a keen interest in cultural landscapes, Margie believes the highlight of her studies at UWS was involvement in the Sharing Our Heritages: Master Classes in Cultural and Natural Heritage Management program. However, she also acknowledges that one of the great benefits of continuing studies is the professional networking opportunities afforded through interactions with both students and academic staff, who are also very experienced practitioners. Tourism study at UWS provided a great basis for further development. My course explored a range of issues and topics which gave insights into many facets of environmental management and tourism. I particularly enjoyed the teaching methods – hands on approach, with relevant field visits, group work and presentations. Lectures were always lively and interactive. Read more from Tim O'Connoll
