» Contact DetailsDr Tadjoeddin joined the School of Social Sciences of UWS as a Lecturer in Development Studies in July 2011. Prior to that, he was a Lecturer in Economics at the School of Economics and Finance, UWS. He had visiting research appointments at the Queen Elizabeth House (QEH), University of Oxford and at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Netherlands; was a Technical Advisor on decentralization and conflict at the United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP) in Indonesia and a Researcher at the UN Support Facility for Indonesian Recovery (UNSFIR-UNDP) and World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF). His areas of research include political economy of conflict, peace and development, inequality, poverty, human development, decentralization and labour market. His publications have appeared in leading journals such as Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Peace Research, Oxford Development Studies, Journal of East Asian Studies, Journal of International Development, Economics of Peace and Security Journal, European Journal of East Asian Studies and Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy.
