I teach a number of individual course work units focussed on the development of knowledge and skills in psychological interventions and clinical psychology practice to students enrolled in both the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and the Master of Psychology (Forensic). I also provide research supervision to students enrolled in both Honours and the postgraduate course work programs.
I was the Director / Course Advisor for the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program from 1999 - 2009 and participated in the original design of this course and the initial accreditation process by the Australian Psychological Society. I led the curriculum development and accreditation process for the award on two successive iterations and reaccreditation rounds.
As part of my responsibilities in the Master of Psychology (Clinical), I developed the UWS Psychology Clinic and acted as its Director from 1999 to 2006. The UWS Psychology Clinic was developed to provide both in-house practicum training for students enrolled in the Master of Psychology programs at UWS and as a community engagement initiative of the School of Psychology.
