This facility on the Hawkesbury campus was established in 2009. The facility is located in the recently renovated reptile house (K1) and comprises of an incubation room with state-of the art temperature, light and carbon dioxide control chambers, as well as aquatic and terrestrial respirometry facilities.
Hatchling turtles are housed in up to 25 aquaria, and are then relocated to semi-natural ponds in recently updated glasshouse facilities (J4).
