Health Sciences
Health Science is one of many disciplines within the School of Science and Health that is located on the Campbelltown campus. The program covers the specialisations of therapeutic recreation, health promotion and health services management.
Research: Research interests include interprofessional health education, community healthcare and lifestyle, epidemiology, health inequalities, intergenerational issues in healthcare, measurement of health outcomes, sociology of health, social difference and health outcomes, employability of health graduates.
Clinical Placements: Our students have the opportunity to participate in clinical placements. All programs include two significant supervised work placements where students can apply their knowledge and skills in healthcare settings and gain experience of healthcare roles as preparation for their future careers.
Courses: The Bachelor of Health Science offers key programs in therapeutic recreation, health promotion and health services management. It is also possible to combine two key programs and graduate with a double major in two of these areas.
