Youth Science Forum at UWS YSF@UWS - In January each year the University of Western Sydney hosts a three day residential workshop, that is a mixture of science, leadership development and fun, for high achieving science students entering year 12. Selection is usually through applications to the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), though students with strong marks in their senior science year are eligible even if they didn’t apply for NYSF. The workshop will run in January 2012, and you won’t be disappointed. Most students are sponsored by their local Rotary Club, so that is an added bonus for students who participate. For further information contact Professor Robert Mulley on (02) 45701210 or Lindy Pearson on (02) 45701307. Find out more through YSF@UWS.
Preparing for Science workshops - Biology and Chemisty workshops will be held in February. Register your attendance online at Preparing for Science workshops.
