Doctor Narsimha Reddy

Biography

Dr Narsimha Reddy has a strong background in the theory and practise of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy and Imaging. His depth of knowledge in density matrix calculations and product operator analysis of multidimensional NMR experiments has led him to design/implement new pulse sequences and techniques in high resolution NMR spectroscopy. He has expertise in establishing/running NMR facilities and undertaking research employing liquid state NMR, solid state NMR and MRI techniques. He has wide knowledge of implementing and utilising various Multi-dimensional NMR techniques for molecular structure determination and MRI techniques including Chemical Shift Selective MRI for spatial localisation of chemical components in seeds, plant material and oyster research. Dr Reddy has published several papers in refereed Scientific Journals. He is also a member of professional magnetic resonance associations.
