Biography

Dr Kylie Steel is a trained Sport and Exercise scientist and Physical Education teacher. During the past seven years Kylie has been lecturing and practicing in the area of Sport Science. Lecturing duties have included both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the sport science areas of Physical Development Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Fitness, Dance Education and Coaching.

In 2009 Kylie graduated from the University of Sydney with a PhD in Skill Acquisition and Motor Learning.

 

Research

Current research relates to the factors which influence perception and decision-making in team sports.

Future research projects will include pro-prioception in team sports participants and the application of observational based methods for accelerating learning.
