QualificationsLee commenced her academic career at The University of Sydney prior to moving to the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in 1997. She was Head of the Occupational Therapy program from 1998 to 2009. As an occupational therapist she has worked in public and private sectors as a clinician and manager in mental health, aged care, vocational and occupational rehabilitation. Her teaching experience includes clinical practice/fieldwork, mental health and occupational therapy professional areas. Lee’s research activity is focussed in the area of education. Her doctoral research is about fieldwork supervision and evaluation of student performance. She supports and fosters fieldwork collaborations at state, national and international levels.
Occupational Therapy education is Lee's area of research interest and activity. Current projects concern the transition of occupational therapy clinicians to clinical educators and preparing occupational therapy graduates to work in the field of aged care.
