Biography
Dr. Chun Guang Li joined the Complementary Medicine Research Centre at UWS in late 2012. He is an internationally recognized expert on herbal pharmacology and nitric oxide mediated neurotransmission. He has established several laboratories and directed a number of funded research projects. He has published more than 130 refereed journal articles and book chapters, with >3000 citations. He has supervised 21 PhDs, 6 Masters and 5 Honours students. He sits in various national and international committees of professional bodies, and is member of editorial board of several international journals. He has been invited to present at various national and international conferences. Dr Li. has a strong link with the research communities, industries and international organizations on complementary and traditional medicines. Dr Li’s main research interests include pharmacology of natural products, drug discovery, and traditional medicines. His work involves investigations at various levels from molecular mechanisms to clinical trials.
