Biography

Adam Komarek commenced in July 2009 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Natural Sciences. Adam's research focuses on agricultural development economics, including evaluating development strategies, developing quantitative models to examine rural household decision making, and measuring economic, food security and environmental tradeoffs in farming systems. Adam has previously lectured in agricultural and environmental economics at The University of Sydney and at the University of New South Wales. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from The University of Sydney (2004 and 2008, respectively).
