Biography
Bonnie Dawson is a highly committed professional educator and researcher with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in China Studies from the United States. She was awarded a PhD in Marketing, with a focus on International Joint Ventures in China, from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Bonnie also has two graduate diplomas in education. She has had professional experience coordinating Teacher and Quality Education at the Sydney Institute of Technology Ultimo TAFE as well as developing staff at the University of New South Wales. She has also worked as a Management policy analyst for the New South Wales Government. Bonnie Dawson has had extensive experience teaching a broad range of marketing and management courses. She is currently coordinator of the UWS Markets of Asia subject. Bonnie is currently studying how successful IJVs in China manage their partnerships. This research has evolved from her PhD which included a comprehensive framework for IJV performance. Bonnie is also interested in research related to Marketing Education, specifically as it pertains to business communication and accessing internet resources. A new research area involves the study of University-Industry engagement in India and China.
