Biography

Dr Christina Curry is an experienced leader with a demonstrated track record in governance, education and people development. With over 20 years’ experience in the education sector Christina has developed and refined her skills in education policy, professional development and community engagement.

Christina lectures in the secondary and primary teacher education programs in the School of Education. She has held numerous leadership positions at Western, these include Transforming Teaching Champion, a role instrumental in establishing Badugulang, Centre for Teaching Excellence; Academic Director of Western Sydney University International College; and Director of Secondary Education Program.

Christina researches in health education and physical education.

Christina previously worked for the NSW Department of Education as a secondary teacher for 13 years.
