Biography

Dr Evan Atlantis is a leading expert in mental health and chronic disease research. He has expertise in epidemiology, randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews (evidence synthesis). His published work, includes over 30 scientific articles (27 as first author and two monographs) and a book chapter, has received over 760 citations (overall H-index of 13). He presents regularly at Australian and international scientific meetings. He has served as peer reviewer for more than 30 international scientific journals, and as Editorial Board Member and lead Guest Editor. He has active research collaborations with groups in Australia and internationally. He is a Chief Investigator in a large Australian cohort study (Men Androgen Inflammation Lifestyle Environment & Stress [MAILES]), and has been awarded major NHMRC project and equipment grants with a total value of over $1.8M.
