Biography
Geir Henning Presterudstuen was awarded his PhD from University of Western Sydney in September 2011 (graduation in April 2012) for his thesis on ‘Masculinity, Manhood and Tradition in Contemporary Fiji’. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from University of Queensland and a Master of Development Studies (w/ merit) from the University of Sydney. He has taught a range of social science subjects at the University of Western Sydney and the University of Sydney. His main research interests include cultural and gendered identities, post-colonialism and intersections between social space and the body.
