Biography

Dr George Grodzicki obtained his BSc(Eng) in Electrical Engineering part-time from the UNSW (1975), MEng (Automatic Control) from NSWIT (1983) and PhD from UTS (2003). Dr Grodzicki is a corporate member of Engineers Australia, CPEng, a registered professional enginer, and has been employed as an academic for the last 20 years. Dr. grodzicki worked for 20 years as a professional engineer in booth theprivate and public ectors. He  was previously employed as a professional engineer by Precision Engineering Co Pty Ltd (lighting design), the Electricity Commission of NSW (electrical power plant design, power development/system stability and protection design), Garden Island Dockyard (fields and measurements, computer database [HP]), the NSW Grain Corporation (materials handling, Port Kembla Grain terminal), 3M Australia Pty Ltd (Tape Coater plant construction and commissioning) and ANSTO as an operations engineer with HIFAR (Hi Flux Australian Nuclear Reactor, Lucas Heights).
